2024 Palmer Cup
Please join us for the 9th Annual Palmer Cup! Shotgun start at 11:00 AM (registration at 10:30 AM).
The format is Mixed Scramble; all levels are encouraged to play.
The entry fee of $__ per player includes refreshments and prizes, including longest drive and closest to the pin for men and women.
Labor Day Golf Tournament
Time: 2:00 PM Shotgun. Meet at putting green at 1:45 PM promptly.
Please sign up early. Entry deadline: 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 29.
Step Aside Scramble– ABCD Player Format. Players of all skill levels are welcome, including family and house guests!
Beefeaters Breakfast and Golf
Breakfast:
Please join us for the annual Beefeater’s Breakfast! We will have an early bird start at 7:30 AM so members can enjoy breakfast, and play golf! The cost for breakfast is $20.
Golf:
All are welcome! A tradition like no other continues this Labor Day Weekend Saturday and you’re all invited to play in our usual four ball Modified Stableford scoring 9 hole informal golf tournament. The tournament starts anytime after 7:30 AM, after or during the Beefeater’s Breakfast.
The early start will give sailors a chance to participate in the Windsong regatta, and they are encouraged to do so!
The entry fee is $20, payable when you arrive. You can make your own team and sign up in advance, or we’ll put folks together, bearing in mind that every ball counts on any hole as long as it scores a net par or better. Guests are welcome. The more the merrier! Just bring your best estimated handicap.

The 2024 season long Fourball championship is a match play tournament where teams of two will play until one winning team is crowned.
Teams have two weeks to play their round.
Fourball is a match play competition, where two teams of two players compete directly against each other. All four golfers play their own balls throughout the round (rather than alternating shots); each hole is won by the team whose member has the lowest score.
August Nine and Dine
Golfers: 3:30 PM at the 2nd Tee
Diners: 6:15 PM on the Porch. BYOB
Price: $60 per person

Fourball is a match play competition, where two teams of two players compete directly against each other. All four golfers play their own balls throughout the round (rather than alternating shots); each hole is won by the team whose member has the lowest score.
President’s Cup
The Golf Committee cordially invites you to participate in the 2024 President’s Cup.
Teams can be Member-Member or Member-Guest. The field will be limited to the first 36 PAID teams.
Applications will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. No applications will be accepted after 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 15. Please note all participants must be at least 21 years of age.
To compete for net prizes, participants must have a current USGA index, which will be verified via GHIN #. Otherwise, you will only be eligible for gross prizes. Please note, for all formats, players’ 18 hole handicaps will be capped at a 25.
On both Friday and Saturday, there will be an 8:00 AM Shotgun and a 1:00 PM Shotgun with 18 teams in each wave.
On Friday, the first 9 holes played will be Better Ball of Partners and players will receive 85% of their course handicap. The second 9 holes played will be Alternate Shot. On Saturday, the first 9 holes played will be Better Ball of Partners.
For the second 9 holes, we will play a Scramble. For both Alternate Shot formats and the Scramble, teams will play with a team handicap, calculated by taking 85% of each player’s course handicap and averaging the 2.
The winners will be announced and awards will be distributed at the tournament dinner Saturday night. By having 2 Shotguns each day, the Golf Committee is hopeful pace of play will improve while also allowing more teams to participate in the event.
Wagering will be available Thursday night from 4:30 to 6:00 PM and Friday morning from 7:00 to 8:00 AM.
2024 Club Championship
The Men’s and Ladies’ Gross and Net Club Championship will be played on Saturday, July 27. The tee times for the event will start at approximately 8:15 AM.
The format is individual stroke play, with gross and net prizes awarded. In order to compete in the net division, players must have an official USGA handicap index.
The fee for the event is $___ per player, which covers prizes and breakfast (muffins, donuts, coffee, etc.).
The Pro Shop will make up the groups, and the course will be closed for regular play until the tournament is finished, which will be mid afternoon (depending on participation).
Please register and pay by Wednesday, July 24.

The Clubhouse is closed Tuesday and Wednesday in the shoulder season.
